Introducing our current sponsored local, South Australian athletes, all of whom we are proud to have as Ambassadors of Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre:

Jimmy Smith

Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre welcomed high altitude mountain climber and motivational speaker, Jimmy Smith to the team in 2017.
In 2017, he will be also joining forces with National Geographic in preparation for some big climbs:
Mt Cho Oyu (26,854 feet 6th highest on earth, across the valley from Everest) dangerous climb in terms of extreme altitude risk
Mt Ama Dablam (most technically challenging climb in the Himalaya, very dangerous ascent of this peak due to its vertical face and huge avalanche risk)
Mt Rainier (solo ascent on the highest peak in the US)
"My personal goal moving forward is to climb the worlds 14 mountains above 8000m in altitude but I want to do this without the use of oxygen, something no Australian has yet done"

Jessica Trengove

In 2014 Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre announced its latest brand ambassador for its Clearer Brighter Future campaign. As a passionate and accomplished sportswoman, Jessica's meteoric rise in Australian distance running was the perfect fit to highlight the options for losing glasses, particularly for sporting and fitness activities. She won bronze in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and placed 22nd in the Olympic Games held in Rio for 2016.

Jordan Steffens

Jordan, Australia's Most Powerful Man, was the first sponsored athlete at Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre. In 2012 he was Rookie of the Year in Weightlifting and holds state records in various categories. Always a crowd favourite, Jordan is a Natural Strongman with his focus on Highland Games, Australian Stone Lifting and he is a Giants Live Competitor.
