Online Eye Suitability Test

Our Recommendation

Thank you for undertaking the Online Eye Suitability Test. Using your answers we class you as being highly myopic – or very short-sighted.

What does this mean?

If you are highly myopic, or very short-sighted, there is a pronounced vision defect caused by a mismatch of the shape and length of the eye. Very short-sighted people can only see objects in focus at a very short distance – meaning most vision is blurry and out of focus.

When your distance focal point is 12cm or less, laser vision correction is not always the best solution. However, the good news is that you have other predictable and highly successful options to achieve visual freedom. The best surgical options for people with high myopia include the use of intraocular collamer lens (ICL) implants or performing a refractive lens exchange. Age, eye health and other factors will determine your best solution.

If you would you like to find out more about your vision problem, and what your surgical options are, please fill in the fields below and we will send you this information.

Are you suitable for eye laser surgery?

Not all people are suitable for laser surgery and a thorough examination with an Ophthalmologist is necessary to determine suitability, however, there are some general guidelines and questions which can provide an initial indication of suitability.
