Key Staff

Lori graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 1994 with First Class Honours and the University Medal for Academic Excellence. She has consulted at Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre since 1997 and over the past 20 years has enjoyed delivering pre and post-operative optometric care for refractive laser and cataract patients.

Lori has contributed to the development of optometry in South Australia through her former membership on the Optometry Association Board and the Optometry Australia (SA) Continuing Education Committee.

More recently completing her Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics, Lori is able to therapeutically manage a range of eye diseases.

Lori always strives to deliver an exemplary standard of eye care and service to her patients, and continues to thoroughly enjoy her professional practice.

Deanna is an experienced optometrist who graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Medical Science (Vision Science), Master of Optometry. Deanna strives to ensure each patient receives the highest standard of care throughout their pre- and post-operative refractive consultations. She is therapeutically endorsed and is familiar with prescribing topical medications for a range of anterior eye disease. Deanna is also a mentor to optometry students and graduate optometrists in refining their clinical skills.

Outside of work Deanna enjoys music, embroidery, and growing her collection of vintage books.

Chloe graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Medical Science (Vision Science), Master of Optometry. She is therapeutically endorsed, which allows the topical treatment for a variety of ocular conditions.

Chloe loves providing high quality optometric care for every patient along their pre- and post-operative journey. She ensures each patient is treated with respect and aims to provide a high level of support.

She has a passion for health and fitness as a previous Personal Trainer but enjoys life’s balances of good food, time with friends and family, and travel.

Carolyn completed her Bachelor of Applied Science in Orthoptics at La Trobe University and is a current member of the Australian Orthoptic Board and Orthoptics Australia. She has worked in ophthalmic assisting roles within South Australia since 1993 and has participated in several volunteering programs in developing countries. Carolyn enjoys her role immensely, delivering consistent and accurate testing to support our optometrists and ophthalmic surgeons.

Outside of work, she enjoys bushwalking and spending time with her family.

Our Ophthalmic Technician, Mary joined AE&LC in February 2021 where she sees patients for their pre- and post-operative testing, along with assisting admin when required. She is currently in her fourth year of Optometry at Flinders University where she dives into learning her passion.

When she is not caring for patients or studying away, Mary is spending her quality time with friends and family.

Bec joined the Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre team in 2023.  She has worked in customer service for many years and has a passion for delivering the very best care to all our patients.

When she is not at work you will find her taxiing her children around to their many sporting commitments.

Genevieve joined the AE&LC team in 2023, armed with an extensive history in customer service and several years in medical. She is passionate and committed to creating a warm, comfortable, stress-free environment for our patients with her friendly and kind nature.

Outside of work Genevieve enjoys being outdoors at the beach, camping, hiking and spending time with her friends and family.

Jayde joined the AE&LC team in 2024. With experience in customer service, and a welcoming and capable personality, she provides a friendly face for our patient community. With a warm smile and a happy disposition, she is committed to making our patients feel relaxed, well cared for and comfortable during their ophthalmic journey with us.

Jenny has worked at Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre since 2007 as our medical typist.

Jenny enjoys cooking, trying new cuisines and spending time with her family.
